The Principal provides the overall academic and administrative leadership of the institution, working closely with the top-level management to translate the school’s vision and mission into effective educational practices. The Principal ensures that academic standards, institutional policies, and the overall functioning of the school remain aligned with its educational goals.
The Vice Principals oversee their respective academic divisions and play a key role in ensuring the effective implementation of academic programmes, discipline, student development, teacher coordination, assessment practices, and school policies. Their leadership supports the smooth functioning of each academic division and strengthens coordination across the school.
The Headmistress leads the Kindergarten section, with particular attention to the unique developmental, emotional, social, and learning needs of young learners. Through thoughtful leadership and coordination, the Headmistress ensures a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating early-years environment.
The Academic Coordinators serve as an important link between the school leadership and the teaching community. They facilitate curriculum planning, academic monitoring, teacher coordination, programme implementation, and continuous improvement in teaching and learning, helping to maintain consistency and academic quality across the school.
The Heads of Departments (HODs) provide subject-specific academic leadership for Grades I to XII. They guide teachers in curriculum delivery, lesson planning, assessment, enrichment activities, and the continuous enhancement of subject learning. Their role ensures that each academic department works towards achieving high standards of teaching and learning.
Our administrative structure is built on the principle that effective leadership creates effective learning. With clearly defined roles, collaborative decision-making, continuous communication, and shared responsibility, IGPS strives to create an organised, responsive, and student-centred educational environment.
Together, the Management, Principal, Vice Principals, Headmistress, Coordinators, HODs, and Teachers work as one team towards a common goal — empowering every learner to achieve excellence and preparing them to lead a purposeful and responsible life.
